John Price, Dave McMahon and Richard Costall will again be helping Microsoft to provide 'entertainment' for the community area at TechED Barcelona Developers 2008. We aim to record a Podcast each day!
Here’s the really cool part: In exchange for our help, we have been given one free ticket for TechED developers conference 10th -14th November 2008 in Barcelona.Teched Developers Conference
The competition is open to paid up members ONLY of NxtGenUG at the point the competition closes on midnight on Saturday the 25th October 2008. So if you are thinking about joining, get in quick, its only £89.00 per year. You could be an email away from Barcelona!
You will have to find you own accommodation and travel, which can be booked through the TechED site. Please only enter if you wish to attend the conference. The winner will be decided by Richard Costall, John Price, Dave McMahon and an Independent judge from Microsoft. Prize is as stated and is not transferable. No cash alternatives available.

Terms & Conditions for the NxtGenUG TechED ticket for paid up members to the site.
1. ELIGIBILITY: This draw is open to any person resident in the UK who is 18 years of
age or older at the time of entry. only paid-up members of NxtGenUG, are eligible,
2. TO ENTER: Complete the competition form with your full name submit before the closing date and time. NxtGenUG is not responsible for lost or delayed entries. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. NxtGenUG reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
3. TIMING: This promotion runs from 9:30am on Sunday 19th October until midnight on Saturday 25th October GMT 2008. All entries must be received by the stated closing date and time.
4. USE OF DATA: Unless you tick the box on your original registration form stating you do not want to be contacted by NxtGenUG, personal data which you provide when you enter the draw will be used for future NxtGenUG activity.
5. SELECTION OF WINNER: One winner will be determined by the NxtGenUG Committee and a Micrsosoft employee on Sunday 26th October 2008. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received
6. PRIZE: The winner will receive one ticket to TechED Barcelona 6th-10th October 2006.. Prize is as stated and is not transferable. No cash alternatives available. NxtGenUG reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
7. AWARDING OF PRIZE: The winner will be notified by email by Sunday 26th October 2008.
The winner will have their prize presented via email. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, through no fault of NxtGenUG, within FIVE (5) days after the first attempt, an alternative winner will be selected at random. The winners may be required to participate in further publicity or advertising.
8. WINNER’S LIST: The winner consents to their name made publicly available. Winner’s name will be available on the NxtGenUG site.. To obtain winner’s details send an email request to winnersName@NxtGenUG.Net
9. OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, NxtGenUG’s decision shall be final. NxtGenUG reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this promotion at any time without notice.
