Speaker Presentation List
Code Access Security (CAS)
Chris will explain clearly how CAS works, using code examples. The presentation will explore some of the potential pitfalls of this technology and how they can be avoided. In particular, using CAS within ASP.NET websites will be discussed, as well as the configuration required. In depth examples, such as the construction of a custom permission, and looking at the code access Demands within the .NET framework, will be included. This presentation spans both an introduction and also advanced application.
Real World Security Audit
This presentation is based on an actual security audit of a very large web application. The application had many security problems to solve, due to security being left until late in the development process. The talk covers the processes involved in secure development, threat modelling, common security issues and the technologies used to secure a web application. A variety of developer tools will be discussed, particularly the new features of Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005.
WSE Nugget
Chris seary presents a 10 minute nugget on WSE and Web Services.
The Security Tool Nugget

Shhh! The Secret Nugget
How Do you keep them secret? I mean really, really secret? So secret that even if someone gets hold of it, they still don't know your secret? Chris Seary will guide you through a powerful Microsoft technology for locking down data that needs protecting, such as passwords.

Developer Security with WCF and SQL Server
Developers now have more responsibility for securing applications than ever before - we have to think further than the firewall. Chris will show what a hacker can do to your application, and then demonstrate the granular level of security that can only be implemented by developers. A variety of developer tools will be discussed, particularly WCF and SQL Server 2008.
