| Chips, pizza and serviettes - and a free drink from Microsoft. What more could you want? |

| Interesting to hear about developments from an IT pro perspective; hearing about the upcoming network access protection in Server 2008 and how that could affect network-aware apps will no doubt pay dividends in the future. Excellent speakers, top notch nosh and an open tab at the bar - what more is there to say? :) |

| It was difficult to understand some of the kool features Alun was describing as many are on the outer edges of knowledge & understanding. Not an easy subject to do, to a mainly developer audiance. Also many features were for enterprise size organisations. I deal with mainly small to small-med organisations. Maybe a better angle would have been to have 3 made-up companies of different sizes and cover how server 2008 would effect them into the future whan they change/grow/want to do more. Delivery & keeping everyone's attention was, as always, top notch!! :) |

| It was great to hear a presentation from the it pros for a change. Though I'm not heavily involved with windows server or sql server, I could appreciate how the new features could affect me as a developer and also appreciate some of the corporate benefits. Great swag and food as well. |

| Well, I'm biased, but I would have liked more time on the new developer features but still an engaging presentation. Again, good presenter.

| It was good to hear a talk on non-dev stuff and Alun's passionate and enthusistic style actually made it understandable and interesting. |

SQL Server 2008 |
| A chalk-talk on the new features in SQL Server 2008. After a short run through of the significant features in the next release we’ll open the floor to get feedback on what is of most interest to the audience so we can go deeper into those aspects. |
