Marc Gravell
A good intro to the DLR, but I suspect some of the time spent on the tokenizer etc could have been better used discussing more of the why/when/when-not issues with DLR. Perhaps with just a quick glance as the tokenizer etc to introduce them in the context of trees, but the length of the parse loop made it quite dry for the audience. Just a bit too much detail on the parser. But Ben obviously knows this area very well, and is passionate/enthusiastic about it, which counts for a lot.

Event Breakdown
Ben Hall It's all gone dynamic with the DLR!
Over the past few years, dynamic languages have increased dramatically in popularity. Now, .Net developers can join in
the fun with the new Dynamic Language Runtime (DLR) and take advantage these languages. In this session, Ben discusses dynamic
languages, how the DLR has enabled Python (IronPython) and Ruby (IronRuby) to be implemented on the the .Net platform and what
impact this has for the current .Net developers?
