Kris went too fast on the data-binding and didn't explain in each step/concept with an example. That said I really enjoyed the presentation.

Heckles were slightly raised at the prospect of a pizza substitution, but JP et al pulled it out of the bag with a pasty and chips combo. Good idea - suits this weather down to the ground.

I really enjoyed this session, Kris did an excellent job of providing an intro into WPF, he only graduated less than a year ago and is one to watch in the future.

Kris covered alot of ground in a short space of time in a well thought out presentation. Very well done. I enjoyed it. My only constructive comment is to try not to simply read out the contents of the powerpoint slides but to try to give your own personal slant on what the slides are stating.

Can't fault the presentation, the hosts, the swag or the info and trial software that was available. The chips were poor though. I'm no fan of T-shirts though, and T-shirts with poor designs are worse. It might work better, therefore if you ask 'who wants...?' and then pick someone at random.

Cheers for hosting this chaps.

What a great user group and event. I'm glad we discovered it. I will join, especially that I bagged an absolutely superb bit of swag, the WS 2008/VS 2008 and SQL Server 2008 pack. Looking forward to the next event. I think pizza may have been a bit more apetising than pasties but - hey they were free so that's cool.
