Fascinating talk. I already use Win7, so the initial part was mostly covering things I already knew, but the app compat part was very interesting and certainly taught me a few things I didn't know! Presenter came across well, demos worked nicely and illustrated the points, and ZoomIt was well used in places which was nice to see. Overall very slick and well done.

Very interesting and something, as a fellow world class procrastinator (I'm filling this form in rather than diagnosing an intermittent NullReferenceException), I fully intend to try.

I think it would be useful to automatically make the slides available on the website - for the main event and even for the nuggets too. I noticed that Manning book publishers have a User Group Program that you guys might want to look into - see http://manning.com/ugprogram/. I think Andy should be given an "Eat, Sleep, Code" T-shirt !!!

John Nolan The Pomodoro Technique
As the saying goes “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. With deadlines looming, bugs rearing their heads, pointless meetings and constant interruptions time can often seem like the enemy.

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that helps you focus on the task in hand, estimate better and gives you the opportunity to improve your processes. As you begin to use the technique more you will find that time managed correctly is your ally.

John will demonstrate how to get started with the Pomodoro Technique and share his fledgling experiences with you.
