Richard Wilde An introduction into ASP.NET MVC
Richard will provide a simple introduction to the ASP.NET MVC Framework with some Linq 2 XML thrown in. He will cover the MVC design pattern in brief and will demonstrate the usage of the MVC Framework itself with a simple application. The application will cover routes, strongly typed view data, MVC content pages and MVC user controls. He will go on to show how to incoporate data and show how simple it is to create a basic RESTful application. All in 90 minutes!
Joe Collins Testing, testing...web applications
A practical approach to testing web applications. Joe Collins demonstrates some pragmatic techniques and tactics for automating your web application tests. The demonstration uses the Lightweight Test Automation Framework (recently released) and WatiN (Web application testing in .Net). To sum up, Joe suggests where and when to use these tools.
