Dave Sussman Clean and Standard UI in ASP.NET
ASP.NET WebForms has been the Microsoft web technology of choice for many, but since MVC was released, seems to have been cast aside by many, like a toy whose batteries have run down. One of the reasons is the perceived difficulty in creating clean, standards based user interfaces. In this talk, we'll look at how you can achieve clean, standard and styleable user interfaces in WebForms, and compare them with the equivalents in MVC and look at how the new features in ASP.NET 4 can reduce the amount of work involved in creating these interfaces.
