Blimey it was cold, both outside and inside the cargo plane. Hopefully the technology kept us warm. Thanks to all for attending, the DPE guys and Charles from Channel9. - Great Stuff

Best demo i've seen showing workflow in a real situation. Even better as it was done in under 6 mins!.

Again, a real world demo of UAC. Far too many demos in the past have been theoretical. This, being much more practical, I think the penny has finally dropped.

The hold of the Argosy was about as warm as it would be at 30,000 feet. The management team were, however, forgiven for serving 30 or more portions of piping hot fish and chips! Swag for future meetings should include foil-blankets.

This was very relevant to me as I've jsut finished an Outlook Add-in using VSTO 2005. Interesting to know of some of the changes you need to be aware of when developing for Office 2007.

| Speakers obviously new their stuff, and dispite the tightest of schedules, still managed to get plenty across to us.
My only disappointment was that, the .NET 3.0 event was too short |

I enjoyed the event very much. Great speakers and demos. Fun venue.

For the time available this was very good, although as with all of the items on this event, there really was so much to get through it would be difficult to do any item justice in its own right.

Walking through to the Argosy, our room for the night, we passed many aircraft that in their time were at the forefront of technology and now are museum pieces. Office 2007, Vista and Framework 3.0 are at the forefront of our own development tools and it made me wonder how long it will be before they themselves are superseded and what offspring they will leave in their wake. It's good to see that Microsoft can arrange local events outside office hours as unfortunatly few can get the time to visit Reading on a regular bases. Would have rated 9 if a) Both heaters were working b) A copy of Office to pratice against..

Great evening, great line up, great venue, great food, BUT....absolutely freezing !!!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the evening despite the sub zero temperatures. Hosting the event in a cargo plane, well, that will take some beating. Oh, and got interviewed by channel 9 !!!!

An interesting location, good demos and great food! Bloody cold though....brrrrr! Let's do it again, in the summer.
