Daniel was an excellent speaker and covered a huge number of points in good detail on what it transpires is a vast subject.
Raymond Starkey
Great speaker, slick, fluent and professional
Richard Brown
Another excellent meeting from the NextGenUg guys. Special mention to the super comfy new sofa's!
Chris Sexton
Superb event as usual - very well organised, the bar was open, and there was lots of pizza - what more could you want?
Chris Sexton
Great presentation, a great overall picture and lots of information packed in. Well-structured, flowed very nicely. I've heard presentations on some elements before but even for those I learned something new/understood it better. And all without mentioning Linq - well maybe a little!
John Brownbill
An excellent and informative presentation which made me decide to install VS2008. Not all presentations have that effect! :-)
James Coulter
Daniel is always an entertaining speaker and this was no exception. It was really good to see the new features coming out in the new version of Visual Studio and Daniel managed to give as good an overview of the headline features in the time available. Only let down by the fact that Daniel ran out of time, mainly due to the number of questions asked by the audience.
Chris Hay
Daniel is a superb speaker, and that was an outstanding presentation. Looking forward to having him at Cambridge
Jezz Barwick
Very good show, thank you. Lots to take in but wouldn't have it any other way.
Stuart Wells
A very informative presentation. Daniel is a good presenter and the decision to omit LINQ from the content was an excellent one as this topic tends to consume all the time and we never usual get to hear about all the other stuff. It is all the other stuff I most wanted to know about - so well done NxtGenUG & Daniel.

Event: VS2008 and .NET 3.5
Daniel Moth drops in at the flying club to tell what all the fuss is about with VS2008 and .NET 3.5. We decided to ban him from talking about LINQ to XML, LINQ to SQL, and just let him LINQ to a nugget. Make sure you don't BLINQ or you'll miss the pizza. NOTE: This session contains no LINQ.

If you are not a member of NxtGenUG, you are more than welcome to attend. We just ask you register on the site, to help us to plan numbers and refreshments. Once registered on the site, you can then register for this event from this page.

Event Breakdown
Daniel Moth VS2008 and .NET 3.5
Want to know how Visual Studio 2008 differs from every single previous release of Visual Studio? Do the terms "red bits" and "green bits" confuse you? Are you having a hard time finding what exactly is new in the .NET Framework 3.5 – the complete list? Have you got an interest in exploring what the new C# 3.0 and Visual Basic 9.0 language features can do for you today and tomorrow? This session will answer all of those questions and more. After attending this session the first thing you will do when you go back home is move your Visual Studio 2005 projects to Visual Studio 2008 - that's a promise!
