Formed in April 2006. Aston Science park near the city centre hosts NxtGenUG Birmingham. A great meeting place to discuss technology and eat Pizza!
Cambridge
Having opened in September 2007, Cambridge will offer a unique insight into Microsoft Research.
Coventry
Coventry venue has a bar, leather chairs and a view of the runway. With great meetings every month, what more could you ask for? Serving the Coventry community since April 2006.
Hereford
NxtGenUG Hereford - Then there were six. Formed in February 2009 Hereford is the newest NxtGenUG Region. Run by local guys Ryan O'Neill and Richard Wilde.
Manchester
"It's a sunny paradise!" does not describe soggy Manchester; at least it has its own NxtGenUG region! Run by Steven Robbins and Andy Wilkinson, two northern guys with a passion for pizza/technology!
Oxford
Holding it's first meeting in November 2006, Oxford is headed up by Renowned speakers Barry Dorrans, and Chris Seary.
Southampton
By the seaside, in the warmth of the South, NxtGenUG Southampton is run by John McLoughlin and Richie Allen, local guys with a passion for technology! Southampton started in October 2007.

I Azure You! (Birmingham) February 23
As promised in the middle of Microsoft's "Azure Week" we're running an Azure Event with two guys from Black Marble in Bradford. Yes, filling the boots of Chris Hay who unfortunately cannot be with us this week, Steve Spencer and Iain Angus do their Chris Hay impressions, probably without the loud T-shirts and travel to tell us about building scalable application with Windows Azure. Pizza, Azure Swag and the normal stuff. Should be a great evening!

Richard Hopton, of NxtGen Oxford fame, joins us with his session on Test Driven Development that recently featured in DDD8. Please note this is in *ADDITION TO* our normal February event and is being run on a Friday evening, which probably means we will end up in the pub afterwards :-)

London .NET Usergroup founder Ian Cooper makes his way up to Oxford to demystify the S.O.L.I.D. design principles and discuss why they have been recognised as the best practice development techniques we should all be using. With Pizza and perhaps a nugget this is one not to miss!

Aspect oriented development (Hereford) April 12
Steve Strong will be visiting us and comes highly recommended from the highly recommended Guy Smith-Ferrier. Steve has flown in to the UK to manage his software team and lives in Spain so this is a fairly large commute for him. Steve does a lot of work with nHibernate, Linq and aspect oriented development and should know what works as he handles a lot of software developers. Plus the usual swag, pizza and nugget.
