He’s been working on connected systems since 1986: he implemented parallel applications on the Connection Machine at Thinking Machines Corp, supported distributed system architecture research at the University of Wisconsin Computer Science department, and had his obligatory dot-com bubble experience at IFusion. He joined Microsoft in 1997. He worked on MTS, COM+, Enterprise Services, and the Windows Communication Foundation. Today he’s an architect working on BizTalk Server, Microsoft's business process management system.
