We had to call it that when we lost it. We don't know where it went, probably that Mike Hall (we'll be watching him!) is up to no good again. So we need your help in tracking it down. You need to register/login [free] to the site first and then see all the details here. Speaker Idol - Have you got what it takes to be King of the Stage? Dave and Rich are proud to announce that they will be hosting Speaker Idol this year!. Through the course of TechEd, Dave and Rich will cover the 4 heats and the grand final in what's expected to be a very popular competition. So what is speaker idol?If you are technically competent and can confidently deliver a dynamic presentation to an audience of developers ... then you’re on! Join us on stage at Speaker Idol 2007. Demonstrate your presentation skills and you can become the star of the show. Take your first steps on the road to success... Submit a short home video (3mins) of yourself delivering a presentation. 16 finalists will be selected to take part in the onsite contest. Deadline for video submissions is Friday 05 October.  The top Speaker Idol presenter will win a Speaker ticket to attend TechEd Developers 2008, with the opportunity of presenting a technical breakout session to an audience of developers.The first runner-up will win a Delegate ticket to attend TechEd Developers 2008. Well if we can schedule it in, you may be able to catch us presenting a session or two, or milling around posing as experts - please ask Dave an XSLT question, he'll then probably buy you a beer!
