Chris Hay Turn your ASP.NET Apps up to Eleven!
In this session we will try and squeeze as much juice out of ASP.NET web applications as possible. At the end of the hour you will want to run home and fix up your website to get those extra performance gains, or at least you'll feel smug if you've already done it. We will be looking at the following areas: Reducing Requests, Reducing Page Sizes, AJAX, A Little Silverlight, Improving at the back end.
Mohammed Muzammil MVC in .NET 3.5 SP1
NET has been offering some great support in developing Web applications based on the MVC framework. The recent release of the .NET 3.5 Service Pack 1 comes with a pre installed MVC template and it helps you get started very quickly. MVC allows you to program, thinking about the underlying HTTP protocol, and also accomplishes the Separation of Concern principle quite well.. In this nugget I hope to go through these concepts.
