| Really great to see and hear a presentation by someone with genuine enthusiasm for his work. Would be interesting to learn more about the pros and cons of the various Blend products. |

| An informative and visually exciting presentation, gave me ideas of how we can try to design our site even if we are internal and don't have much time to allot to presentation
Liked the introduction to sketchflow and think that this is an important area when talking to developers as this gives us the ability to quickly prototype something for the user |

| I really welcome the occasional non-techy presentation as it helps us to expand our thinking and consideration of things outside our natural comfort zone. Richard addressed the audience extremely well considering we're not his usual bag of raggamuffins and he did a good job of demystifying the wishy-washy world of people who don't program. Only the length of the presentation let it down - I'd have loved more in-depth explanations but considering the allocated slot, I think Richard introduced the topic faultlessly. |

Design can be a Tricky Business! |
Rich internet applications have changed the way that super-brands connect with their customers. If you want to compete in this cluttered marketplace it's essential that you evolve your product or service into a unique brand, creating a circle that people want to join.
People don't buy products, they buy experiences. Get the thoughts of Tricky on 'experience design' and the methods that his team have put into practice on digital projects for Audi, Alton Towers and John L Scott. Discover why design is an essential stage in the creation of rich interfaces, and how you can shape your product so that it's right for the people who really matter, your customers!
This session covers the iterative approach that Tricky and his team use to design experiences, including: Branding, ideation, research, sketching and conceptualisation. It is a great opportunity to check-out some exciting WPF & Silverlight projects, also to understand and discuss how designers are using Microsoft's Expression tools.
An engaging session for both designers and developers alike
