Building Apps for Windows Phone 7.5, 7.8 *and* 8.0
Confused by the different Windows Phone versions? Worried that the platform is fragmenting? Windows Phone 7.5 has been out for over a year now and Windows Phone 8.0 for a little over a month, but early in 2013 the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade will start to be offered as an upgrade to existing Windows Phone 7.5 users.
What should a developer do: ignore 7.5/7.8 and just develop apps for 8.0? Try to build one app that will work great on all the versions? Develop different versions of your app for each phone version?
In this session, we will make it clear what features are in each version and show how to develop an app that works on each of these versions and takes advantage of new features on each. This is all about how to maximise the Windows Phone opportunity!
