Another session or two on the rest of Daniel's vs2008 presentation would always be worthwhile, but this was choc full of genuinly useful info (i.e. a dev tool mopst will actually use now/soon). Good presenter, good terse style.

As always, Dan managed to get a lot of information into a presentation while still keeping it interesting - he was able to answer most questions straight away, and knew when to defer a question to a later online forum, or to (? jokingly) add the "We can do whatever we want because we're Microsoft" comments.

Event Breakdown
Daniel Moth VS2008 and .NET 3.5
Want to know how Visual Studio 2008 differs from every single previous release of Visual Studio? Do the terms "red bits" and "green bits" confuse you? Are you having a hard time finding what exactly is new in the .NET Framework 3.5 – the complete list? Have you got an interest in exploring what the new C# 3.0 and Visual Basic 9.0 language features can do for you today and tomorrow? This session will answer all of those questions and more. After attending this session the first thing you will do when you go back home is move your Visual Studio 2005 projects to Visual Studio 2008 - that's a promise!
